Our 9Ni cryogenic steel plate is produced to ASTM A553 / A553M Type I and is engineered for service at extremely low temperatures down to -196°C (-320°F). With a nominal nickel content of 9%, this nickel-alloy steel plate provides an excellent combination of high strength, toughness and weldability, making it the material of choice for LNG storage tanks and cryogenic pressure vessels.
