AISI 420 stainless steel plate is a martensitic chromium steel plate that can be hardened by heat treatment to achieve high hardness and outstanding wear resistance. With about 12–14% chromium, it offers a good balance of corrosion resistance and cutting performance, making it one of the most widely used grades for knife blades, cutlery and mechanical components.
