430 BA Stainless Steel Sheet

Our 430 BA stainless steel sheet is a ferritic, magnetic stainless steel supplied with a Bright Annealed (BA) surface finish. The BA finish is produced by bright annealing in a controlled atmosphere, giving the sheet a smooth, reflective and uniform surface that is easy to clean and ideal for decorative and functional applications.

Brief Introduction

Grade 430 is a common ferritic stainless steel with good general corrosion resistance and formability. BA finish (Bright Annealed) is produced by bright annealing under protective atmosphere after cold rolling, featuring a smooth, bright, mirror-like surface without oxide scale. It has lower thermal expansion coefficient than austenitic stainless steel, good thermal conductivity, and is non-hardenable by heat treatment. 430 BA sheet is cost-effective for decorative and moderately corrosive environments.
