253MA (UNS S30815, EN 1.4835) is a heat-resistant austenitic stainless steel alloyed with nitrogen and rare earth elements. It provides excellent oxidation resistance and high creep strength at elevated temperatures up to 1150 deg C, making it a cost-effective alternative to nickel-based alloys for high-temperature service.
