If GB/T 3077 12Cr1MoV covers the following issues of hot rolled and forging alloy steel: the dimension, shape, weight, tolerance, engineering specification, test method, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates.

 

The standard applies to alloy structural steel bar 250mm maximum diameter or thickness. After consultation between the two sides of supply and demand, bar stock of diameter greater than 250 mm can also be provided

 

The chemical compositions of steel grades specified in the standard also apply to steel ingot, billet and its productions.

12Cr1MoV High Quality Alloy Structural Steel Plate

12Cr1MoV, alloy structural steel. Uniform number code: A31132. Standard: GB/ t3077-1999. 2Cr1MoV is a kind of pearlite low alloy heat strength steel, which still has high heat strength and oxidation resistance at 580℃, and has a high durable plasticity. The production process is simple and the welding property is good, but it is sensitive to the normalizing cooling speed. 12Cr1MoV heat resistant steel is used for manufacturing steam parameters 540℃conduit, metal wall temperature less than 580℃ superheater tube and forgings.

Application

This kind of steel is mainly used after normalizing and tempering at high temperature to produce superheated steel tubes, conduits, coiled tubes and other corresponding forgings with the working temperature not exceeding 570 ~ 585℃ in high-pressure equipment.

The main features

Main features: compared with 12CrMoV steel, this steel has higher oxidation resistance and thermal strength. The creep limit of the steel is very close to the value of the endurance strength, and it has high plasticity under the condition of the endurance tension. The technology and weldability of the steel are good, but the preheating is required to 300℃ before welding, and the stress is removed after welding.

It is a kind of steel widely used in superheater, header and main steam pipe of high pressure, ultra high pressure, subcritical power station boiler. At 580℃, it still has high thermal strength, oxidation resistance and durable plasticity. The production process is simple and the welding performance is good, but it is sensitive to the normalizing cooling speed. Long-term use at 580℃ will result in the second kind of temper brittleness caused by the segregation of phosphorus and other impurities at grain boundary. Long – term use will also appear pearlite spherification.

What is the difference between 12Cr1MoV and 12CrMoV

12CrMoV, Cr: 0.30 ~ 0.60. Uniform number code: A31122. Executive standard: GB/T 3077-1999

All of them are pearlite type heat-resistant steel, which has high tissue stability and thermal strength when used in high temperature for a long time. Compared with 12Cr1MoV steel, Cr content is higher, with higher oxidation resistance and thermal strength. Creep limit is close to the endurance strength value and has higher plasticity under the condition of endurance tension.
