EN 1.4477 stainless steel is a duplex stainless steel formulated for primary forming into wrought products. 1.4477 is the EN numeric designation for this material. X2CrNiMoN29-7-2 is the EN chemical designation.
It can have a fairly high tensile strength among wrought duplex stainless steels. In addition, it has a fairly low thermal conductivity and can have a moderately low ductility.
